CoCo 3 Loader for big programs

To use the loader you simply copy the BigLoader to the start of your program using a binary copy tool. First assemble your huge program for example we call it myprogram.bin. With OSX and Linux and Cygwin for windows use the cat command as follows:

$ slz uncompressed.bin myprogram.bin
$ cat bigloader.bin myprogram.bin > bigprogram.bin

This simply adds the loader to the start of your program. Under RSDOS all you need is load the new bigprogram.bin since it now contains the loader and your program code.

How to Assemble:
lwasm -9bl -p cd -oPart1.BIN loadm.s
lwasm -9r -p cd -oPart2.BIN loader.s
cat Part1.BIN Part2.BIN > slzloader.bin

cat bigloader.bin myprogram.bin > bigprogram.bin

This loader uses SLZ decompression and loads a huge CoCo 3 program into memory. In able to decompress the program it uses the memory space from $AF00 to $DFFF. So do not use this space for your own programs or it will overwrite the loader software and crash.

You will have to compile the slz.c program and put the executable in the Source_Code folder in order to assemble PAC MAN. I have an OSX version and a windows .exe already included in that folder. You will have to compile your own if you are using Linux.
